Personality: Derek can be a bit cold but once you get used to him, you'll know that he is a very caring person. Knowing the feeling of being rejected so well he can't stand bullies or any unfair treatment towards anyone. Derek won't think twice before helping someone in need and standing up for what he believes. Known to be the one to spark arguments with his radical point of view and take part on most fights around campus people tend to avoid him and his temper.
Background: Derek was embraced by a friend during a weekend party and left to fend for himself with nothing more than a "You're a vampire now kid, go get'em!" That left him more than reluctant to be around other vampires and the fact that in his staved, blood crazed mind set he killed eight people much to the amusement of his so called mentor and his friends.

Family: Derek is the youngest of his family and the only to be turned into a vampire. He has yet to tell his family and jumped at the chance to join TBM in order to keep his family from finding out or getting hurt.
